The „Fun with Minerals“ section is for children and families. Here, you can get to know a specific mineral in greater detail. There are also puzzles or coloring pages available for download.

How does science become an adventure? With "Countdown Freiberg" you can find out for yourselves.
In "Countdown Freiberg"—a new Minecraft-based adventure from TU Bergakademie Freiberg—you and your team explore the *terra mineralia*, the *Reiche Zeche* mine, and other famous landmarks within a faithful digital recreation of the city of Freiberg. Along the way, you solve puzzles, collaborate, and playfully discover real-world research topics related to raw materials, sustainability, and materials science. "Countdown Freiberg" is designed for young people aged 14 and up, blending gaming with science. The game is suitable for classroom use as well as for anyone wishing to experience Freiberg and its research in a completely new way. Free teaching materials for various subjects and grade levels are also available.
All that is required to play is a Minecraft license— "Countdown Freiberg" itself and all accompanying materials are free of charge.
