The terra mineralia is a central institution of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg and serves the education in research and teaching. Students of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg are therefore admitted free of charge on presentation of their student ID. This does not apply to special exhibitions.

The photo permission also applies to mobile phones.

The audio guides are available in German, English, French, Russian, Polish or Czech and can be borrowed from the ticket office for a deposit (20.00 Euro).
